Information Architects are responsible for developing documentation (site maps, transaction flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models) for websites, landing pages, mobile UI, and emails. Responsibilities: Rapidly prototype and validate ideas with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, in partnership with UX Research and other teams. Collaborate with additional user experience team members (leads, UX architects, copywriters) to design and document new features and optimizations to existing features. Define and maintain a pattern library of UI and design elements. Prototype proposed solutions and iteratively test and validate ideas. Skills in UX Architecture primarily, with additional aptitude in UX Design, Contextual research, and usability research. Responsible for defining and documenting systems and interfaces from the perspective of the people who will use those systems. Experience with translating user and business requirements into the structural design of highly intuitive and well-crafted interfaces and digital experiences including websites, mobile applications, kiosks, and touchscreens. Structural design aspects include, but are not limited to, navigation, taxonomy, user flows, system flows, use cases, personas, task analyses, wireframes and detailed annotations and specifications. Understand how to incorporate both qualitative and quantitative research into their design process and be able to articulate and defend design decisions using this research as an input and a guide. Ability to show specific work samples and case studies that show clear, high-quality documentation articulating complex data-driven and user-focused systems. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an information architect required Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Library Science, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Technical Communications required Proven advanced knowledge in a variety of design and prototyping tools including Axure, Visio, Balsamiq, OmniGraffle or equivalent Knowledge and experience of marketing team tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite Experience designing for responsive and adaptive interfaces for multiple device types Excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills Digital People, an Atterro company, has over 25 years of dedicated experience for creative, interactive and marketing job placements in roles such as designer, developer, analyst, project manager, marketing specialist, user experience and copywriter.
