Then keep reading below to learn more: Responsibilities:  Write compelling copy for catalogs and websites that successfully executes the marketing, category, product or overall business strategy Write clear, helpful, accurate, and easy to understand benefit-based copy by proactively understanding the benefit of every product Create partnerships with the Category Managers and have strong market knowledge Understand markets and write copy that speaks to core customers and conforms to the voice and style Meet all production deadlines Manage the catalog/web copy database  Use SEO/keyword best practices Improve existing copy for clarity and content when necessary Meet deadlines and quality audit Create any written materials that will accompany the product, including (but not limited to) packaging copy, installation and usage instructions Continuously enhance  product knowledge and market understanding Independently research and investigate products to determine the most appealing features to promote and how those features will be spoken about as a benefit Attend site visits with the Sales and Merchandising teams Continually review industry marketing trends and constantly find the best way to promote products Experience Required: Bachelors degree in English/Journalism from an accredited university/college and/or significant work experience in a related field Minimum 3 years success writing catalog-based copy preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with continuously-changing priorities and deadlines Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications and Macintosh Operating System.  Demonstrated high levels of creative energy, curiosity, and inquisitiveness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with vendors and team members.
