The Product Manager represents the “voice of the customer” by maintaining and prioritizing the backlog to ensure that the team is working on stories that maximize business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all customers. A Principal Product Manager is responsible for an entire digital platform, setting the vision and strategy for how that platform serves guests based on enterprise priorities and executing that vision with a cross-discipline team.  Develops detailed product features and requirements, and develops implementation plans.   • Provides measurable input to create the platform vision
  • Develops detailed product features and requirements and develops implementation plans.
  • Draft objectives, key results and platform priorities, including the full team in the process to foster shared delivery goals for each quarter.
  • Drive product discovery with the lead developer and designer to rapidly validate hypotheses and concepts with guests before committing engineering resources.
  • Leads highly complex projects across multiple departments, with interrelated specialties; adapts precedent and may make significant departure from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
  • Setup KPI dashboards and monitoring, using the data to make business decisions and validating the impact of work as it's released.
  • Possess an understanding of retail, relevant technologies and mobile design principles in order to drive innovative solutions.
  • Accountable for the full platform and feature set, delivering in the product model and communicating product needs with business partners. 
  • Lead, develop and manage a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and QA, without any direct reports.
  • Assess value, develop business opportunities, write and prioritize epics, stories and themes on behalf of the guest to ensure work focuses delivers maximum value in alignment with product strategy.
  • Coordinates among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that products get to market per specifications, within budget and on schedule.
  • Provide competitive analysis, monitoring, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Serves as a major resource to other product managers, assisting them in the resolution of complex problems or leading them on larger projects
  • Provide insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team. Builds a strong team culture of progress, transparency and efficiency.
  • Tracks spend across team members, contractors, vendors and hardware/software. Surfaces team gaps and provides recommended solutions.
  • Promotes new ideas, methods and technologies and identifies opportunities with significant ROI potential while building a culture of innovation.

  • 12 years of experience, including 3-5 years in a product strategy role
  • 5-7 years of expertise in coding or digital experience design.
  • 3-5 years of mobile experience
  • Experience working in an agile development: scrum or kanban.
  • Experience in an omnichannel retail organization.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a distributed team environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing and leading a digital team.
