Escrow Assistant/Closing Assistant for an outstanding Title Company
We are looking for a Closing Assistant familiar with the residential title business. This opportunity is with a large, outstanding title company. This is a contract role lasting 6-9 months with potential to go permanent for the right person.
The main responsibilities include preparing and typing form letters, committments, policies, and other title documents. Other responsibilities will include answering and screening calls, taking orders from customers, conducting searches, scheduling closings, inputting information, general clerical duties, and greeting visitors. There will also be some assisting of executive-level staff.
Title industry knowledge and familarity with title searching/processing procedures is required. The right candidate will need to be able to examine notes, files, and legal descriptions to recognize pertinent information and create accurate documents. Other requirements include a high attention to detail, great office skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, good problem-solving abilities, superb communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
