Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. This Assistant Professor faculty position is a probationary/tenure-track appointment with an expected start date of August 14, 2017.
As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching in the Clinical Laboratory Science Program of the Biology Department. Courses include, but are not limited to, hematology, immunochemistry, urinalysis, clinical laboratory techniques, clinical physiology, and other courses required for a NAACLS-certified Clinical Laboratory Science Program. Additional duties include assisting with programmatic accreditation through NAACLS and the expectation to become the future director of the NAACLS-certified Clinical Laboratory Science Program. Minimum qualifications for this position are (1) a Master’s degree in CLS/MLS, with consideration of an MS in a closely related field; (2) demonstrated commitment to quality teaching; (3) teaching experience in CLS/MLS/MLT courses; (4) current ASCP (or equivalent) certification; and (5) at least three years of experience with clinical procedures, methodology, and interpretation.
