KleinMortgage, a subsidiary of KleinBank, has an immediate opening for an experienced Closer/Post Closer II to join our team! This individual will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of closing instructions and documents for conventional fixed and ARM, FHA, VA, RD secondary market loan products that comply with both investor and agency guidelines.
  • Packaging and delivery of closed loan files to investors for purchase.
  • Monitoring and completion of any items needed to fulfill purchase of loans.
  • Packaging and submission of insuring files to government agencies, and obtaining and tracking final documents.
  • Monitoring investor due dates for delivery and purchase, as well as insuring/guarantee due dates.
  • Assisting other closer/post closers, as needed.   

Qualifications for this position include: excellent customer service skills, minimum of 2-3 years mortgage closing experience or equivalent related experience. Individual must have an understanding and knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/GNMA/HUD/VA loan programs and guidelines. 

Must be detail oriented, have strong data entry skills, and the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Previous Encompass experience a plus!
