Parks & Recreation/Community Services Manager
The City of Little Canada is seeking a full-time team-oriented, high energy, Parks & Recreation/Community Services Manager to plan, administer and organize quality recreational programming while also planning and overseeing our parks and trails system. The position will also be responsible for developing and implementing a city-wide communications/promotional strategy to foster citizen engagement and community pride. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in developing and implementing recreation programs and facilities. This person would also have excellent customer service and community engagement skills, including the use of social media. The ability to work flexible hours is also essential.
Key requirements include a 4-year degree in parks & recreations, public administration, business administration, or a related field; or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and abilities including at least 2 years of experience interacting with the public in a customer service environment. Salary is DOQ.
