Establish Visual Merchandising expertise in Store Operations to serve as the key Field facing expert to bring Visual Merchandising strategies to life in stores.Develops the strategy and creates tools for store teams and field leaders to consistently execute visual merchandising strategies in stores.   Serves as primary liaison to HQ Visual Merchandising Office and also plays a critical planning and delivery function and liaison to the Stores VMDs.Collaborates with the Visual Merchant team on the development and implementation of Visual Merchant enterprise strategy to ensure key market sales growth is maximized.


·Leverages Visual Merchandising expertise to develop field/store facing tools, resources, communication and routines that drive sales through improved consistency and execution of our VM teams.

·Develops focuses and leads field Visual Merchant Director engagement calls to communicate merchant and Visual Merchandising priorities and bring stores feedback back through to Merchandising and HQ Visual Merchandising Office

·Proactively partners with GVPs and Field VMDs to address visual merchandising gaps and opportunities within specific markets based on the HQ visual merchandising strategies

·Plays critical role in defining Visual Merchandising operating model for 28 Field VMDs,1400 VMTLs, and any future VM specific field roles.

·Develops tools to increase GVP knowledge and engagement around Visual Merchandising and leading VMDs. Creates content / training for stores leadership team and visual merch team members on merchandising tactics and strategies that assists those field leaders' ability to ensure team members are supporting the overall strategy and maximizing key market sales growth

  • Serves as a key content partner and editor on transition/event manuals, ensure stores have all of the communication necessary to execute the transition/event. Leverages broader Store Ops teams and HQ VM Office to execute necessary work like reporting and communication.
  • Ensures GVPs are balancing HQ driven strategies appropriately against market specific priorities
  • Define how to assess, hire, and performance manage the VM skill so GVPs and STLs can manage their teams appropriately - development documentation and guides
  • Consults with HQ VM Office, Merchants, ISM and Fixturing on execution issues related to proposed presentation such as spacing, riser strategies, capacity and store workload. Attends meetings and audit planograms to insure they contain all necessary information for stores to execute
  • Conducts a meeting with all MP Managers for a transition/event in order to assess the change impact on stores; for specific VM get-out strategies, develops a strategy that allows stores to maintain presentation standards and follow the PTM process
  • Conducts market visits with Group VP's, VMDs & DTL's focusing on Visual Merchandising changes and execution; act as the single point of contact and solicit store feedback on transition/event strategies in order to identify opportunities and solutions

·Creates remerchandising strategies within specific market needs to elevate the guest experience and drive sales



·Four year college degree

·8+ of relevant work experience

·Visual Merchandise Expertise

·Ability to build strategic vision and drive organizational change

·Experience influencing key business partners, including senior leadership, without authority

·Ability to operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment

·Proven experience quickly adapting to changing priorities and tasks

·Project and process management/ownership experience

·Ability to work in high intensity situations with tight deadlines

·Strong process background as well as critical thinking and problem solving skills

·Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with daily interactions ranging from senior leaders to deep subject matter experts
