We are a Food Manufacturer that runs 24/7 365 days of the year.  We employee approximately 500 people and are located in Lakeville, MN.  Our Continuous Improvement Department currently has an open position for a Process Control Technician.  This position would work M-F office hours and the successful candidate would need to be flexible with his/her schedule to be able to come in on off shifts for projects, meetings, etc.

Position Summary:  Under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Manager the Process Control Technician is responsible for operations team support and a leadership role for one or more functions of TPS (TreeHouse Performance Systems) including: Focused Improvement Pillar Membership and the Process Expert Role for the line team structure.  Responsible for supporting Daily Directions Setting (DDS) meetings and all Daily Management Systems (DMS) implementations along with Loss Analysis, Data Collection and Project Leadership.


Previous experience in leading a team and managing projects is required                            

Flexibility to work various shifts required                                                                             

Active TPS participation in leading teams to improve process reliability is a plus                            

Ability to train and develop                                                                           

Excellent computer knowledge including advanced excel and working knowledge of Access is a plus, good Word and Outlook, intermediate                                                                             

Design of Experiment (DOE), Six Sigma and Statistical Analysis Skills a Plus                               

PowerPoint; experience with creating and maintaining data bases is a Plus                         

Excellent verbal and written communication skills                                                                           

Possess understanding of Daily Management Systems (DMS) - CIL, CL, BDE, CM, CO, Defect Handling a plus                                                                                    

Ability to multi-task and prioritize                                                                            

Excellent problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude                                                                             

Excellent mathematical skills                                                                         

SAP and LEDS experience is a plus                                                                          

Self-motivated, finds improved ways to get results, shares improvement ideas                                           

Able to understand associated company documents such as SOPs, safety manual, quality manual, and computer related manuals                                                                                  

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems, drive to root cause and implement countermeasures Excellent safety knowledge and safety record                                                                          

Excellent attendance record                                                                       

Excellent work record                                                                        

Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

EDUCATION:  Should hold 2 year technical degree (4 year degree a plus) or working towards degree
