Class Action Clerk (Entry Level)
Considering Law School, But Not Quite Sure? Nichols Kaster, PLLP is collecting resumes for a class action clerk position. A Class Action Clerk is the primary contact for Plaintiffs (clients) and potential plaintiffs involved in a given case. The primary responsibilities for this position includes, but is not limited to drafting and sending case update letters to clients, updating the Nichols Kaster website with new case information, completing phone/discovery interviews, drafting written discovery responses, reviewing documents, coordinating the production of documents to opposing counsel when necessary, coordinating dissemination of settlement checks, answering questions pertaining to settlement process and check amounts, answering Plaintiff/potential’s questions via both phone and email, and drafting and sending advertisement letters to perspective plaintiffs. CAT clerks are also responsible for keeping accurate client notes in Access, the firm’s internal client database.
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
- Detail oriented
- Demonstrated strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a customer service position and phone experience is strongly desired
- Bachelor's degree required
