Project Remand – Ramsey County Pretrial Services is seeking a full time Crisis Intervention and Stabilization Specialist to serve Ramsey County’s Treatment Courts.  Job responsibilities include: 

providing intensive case management and crisis stabilization for referrals and participants; ensuring all referrals are assessed and enter treatment as soon as possible; making use of trauma-informed care techniques and motivational interviewing skills when working with new referrals and participants; providing supervision to treatment court participants; facilitating referral and participant’s  release from custody; providing weekly progress updates to the treatment court staffing teams; attending staffing sessions and treatment court sessions; attending all treatment court meetings and essential trainings; and reporting information to the treatment court program coordinator for evaluation purposes.

The minimum qualifications for this job is a Bachelor’s degree with education related to and/or a background working with individuals who have chemical health and/or mental health issues.  Knowledge of treatment courts, trauma-informed care techniques, and motivational interviewing is preferred.    

Project Remand is offering a starting salary of $38,000 with an excellent benefit package.
