Financial Analyst:
Humera is currently seeking an Engineering and Financial Analyst for our client in Ramsey. The person in this role will extract data and create reports to analyze the manufacturability and profitability of products; provide financial support analysis for external suppliers and external sub-contractors; supports the analytical needs of the quality department as needed; and publishes information in table or chart form as requested. This is a contract to hire position!
  • Works closely with process engineering personnel to provide analysis on consistency on production times and methods.
  • Works closely with production operations personnel to provide analysis on consistency on production efficiencies.
  • Works closely with quality personnel to provide analysis on key quality measures.
  • Provides company and divisional analysis for on time delivery.
  • Provides company and divisional analysis for product profitability.
  • Supports global scheduling and production documentation preparation.
  • Supports the issuing and closing of production order documentation.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all engineering documentation and its proper transmittal and storage both internally and externally.
  • May write or assist in writing process sheets and may apply or assist in applying time standards to orders prior to their release to manufacturing.
  • Recommends procedures, equipment, and method changes to facilitate the attainment of quality control standards and continuous improvement.
  • Keeps the Site Manager informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management.
  • Coordinates/communicates programming plans and activities with others, as appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.
  • Performs related work as apparent or assigned.

  • High school education, plus at least 2 years of college with skills in financial management.
  • Thorough knowledge software tools such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and MRP systems (JobBoSS)
  • At least one year working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated examples of initiative and aggressiveness in completing programs. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with a wide variety of manufacturing personnel and others at all levels.
