Managing Team and Talent
Align work, set priorities, and establish and track desired metrics to ensure business and team goals and objectives are met. Lead team meetings and communicate team, pyramid and company information. Develop team through on-the-job experiences, relevant feedback, visibility and recognition. Assess teams engagement and ability to execute Item setup and maintenance tasks.Talent Management
Responsible to, train, lead, coach and develop a team of Item Specialist. Develop team through on-the-job experiences, relevant feedback, visibility and recognition. Lead team meetings and communicate team, pyramid and company information.Computer Usage
Utilize standard office software to communicate processes and strategies with team and partners. Understand and able to use specialized software and systems to manage the end-to-end Item set-up and maintenance process.Project, Process, and Program Management
Serve as a champion and ambassador of item across CFT: focusing on optimizing flow of information, identifying, aligning and implementing process efficiencies, and removing barriers for team and ultimately guest experience. Partner with Sr. Buyers, Buyers, Merchant teams, Target India, vendors and other cross-functional partners in both channels to ensure appropriate utilization of item data. Optimize workload by advocating for best methods. Set clear priorities for team and keep them focused on the highest impact work.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Expectations: 4 year degree or equivalent
Job Related Experience: A minimum of 4 years' experience
Specific Experience: Demonstrated strong expertise in an area of Merchandise Planning, Buying, Team Leadership; Team leadership experience; Analytical and critical thinking skills; Exceptional communication skills; Ability to develop effective partnerships and facilitate negotiation between partners; Communication/Build Trust with the project team in order to Drive Change through others; Strategic focus on broader company strategies and goalsDESIRED REQUIREMENTS
Specific Experience: Experience with Item attribution, item tools & system implementations strongly desired; Possesses a technical aptitude and ability to interface with technical teams
