Schneiderman's is an expanding furniture company specializing in quality product. We are currently seeking a leader to enhance and develop sales at our Plymouth Showroom.

This role will need to model customer relationships, have the ability to develop a great working environment for all employees, and role model the company approach to sales through personal productivity. Top candidates will have a professional record of striving for excellence and pursing positive change through integrity, honesty, and respect.


  • Help maintain staffing levels based on store traffic and sales goals
  • Ability to recruit, interview, and hire the most qualified candidates for the Sales Consultant position in partnership with management
  • Establish and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals for sales consultants to ensure profitability and success of the Plymouth Showroom
  • Coach and develop sales consultants utilizing the company selling programs
  • Observe sales consultants and provide feedback regarding selling process
  • Hold individual meetings with sales staff to review performance (sales volume, goal progress, close ratio, Exactly care, sketching, close ratio, phone skills, etc.)
  • Meet monthly with sales staff to discuss expectations and goals
  • Provide weekly motivational and educational sales staff meetings
  • Create employee schedules
  • Conduct annual written performance and salary reviews
  • Coach sales consultants in use of company computer software system
  • Assist in resolution of internal and external customer issues
  • Monitor reports, daily business, and customer response cards
  • Fulfill additional duties as necessary to ensure performance of the Plymouth sales team


  • Leadership abilities demonstrated in past creation of highly motivated teams and individuals
  • Strong selling and coaching skills
  • 4 year college degree or minimum 2 years past management experience
  • Ability to monitor performance to ensure results
  • Passion for customer service
  • Furniture knowledge and background beneficial
  • Ability to work 45 – 50 hours per week with evenings, weekends and holidays
