Digital Marketing Specialist

Doherty Career Solutions has partnered with a direct client in downtown Minneapolis that is seeking a Digital Marketing Display Specialist. Someone who is passionate about digital marketing and delivering results, to be part of its paid search and display team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing display advertising campaigns and can develop and execute strategies that acquire customers, generate revenue and create awareness for consumer and small business products and services.

This is a 10+ month contract with possible extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing Managers to develop and understand campaign goals and objectives.
  • Partner with media agency to plan and coordinate digital media buys on national, regional and local levels to achieve campaign goals and ensure all required tagging/tracking is completed accurately.
  • Work with creative agencies to develop digital assets, select final concepts and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Analyze and draw insights from campaign results to that allow continual improvement across selected Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in future campaigns.
  • Communicate campaign performance and findings to the Digital Marketing team, Product Partners and Marketing Leadership.
  • Grow the Digital Display Advertising program by staying on top of industry trends and innovations and identifying new opportunities.
  • Support additional Digital Advertising campaigns including but not limited to Paid Search, SEO and Content Marketing where needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with financial services experience.
  • Experienced with digital marketing tools and services including but not limited to DoubleClick, Adobe Analytics and Ensighten.
  • Familiar with Display Advertising services and platforms including but not limited to DMP, DSP and Ad Networks, Ad Exchanges, Publishing networks and negotiating direct placements.
  • Knowledge in key Display areas - Mobile, Data driven (1st Party) and Retargeting.
  • Able to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively in a large matrix organization and also with vendors and agencies.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and project types simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
