Doherty Top Talent is partnering with an audio visual company in Eden Prairie in search of a Customer Care Specialist. This is a direct hire opportunity. The schedule would consist of three weekdays worked from 12:30pm-9pm and weekends from 10:30am-7pm with two days off during the week. There is flexibility regarding the days off. Ideal candidates would have a technical aptitude, computer proficiency, excellent and written and verbal communication skills, and customer service experience.

Customer Care Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests and inquiries received via phone, email, or fax by providing accurate information regarding pricing and availability, order tracking information, cross reference look ups, and building mounting solutions for the Company’s customers
  • Follow-up with customers whose orders are incomplete or have issues that need to be resolved to ensure world class customer service
  • Assist customers in navigating to and using website
  • Enter orders and identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell products from customer-initiated contacts
  • Enter customer feedback into SAP on a timely and consistent basis
  • Maintain current knowledge of company products and processes through training and other available resources

Customer Care Specialist Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of customer care experience, preferably in a product support call center
  • Experience or aptitude working with a technical product line or in a technical field
  • Demonstrated customer-focus orientation, ability to multitask, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Outstanding listening, comprehension and oral/written communication – including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and writing composition skills
  • High degree of professionalism including flexibility and willingness to change schedules to meet customer needs
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Intermediate personal computer skills including prior use of standard functions with word processing, spreadsheet, and email packages, and strong 10-key and keyboarding skills
