You create, own and are responsible for the application architecture that best serves the product in its functional and non-functional needs.  You identify and drive architectural changes to accelerate feature development, improve quality and stability.  You have deep and broad engineering skills and work as a team to provide the right solution.  You are very hands on, have a passion for software engineering and configuration, and lead by example.  You will build highly available scalable solutions across the Kronos package and Target built Custom solutions.  You have developed keen insights in the product domain and demonstrate great understanding by influencing and contributing to the product vision.About This OpportunityAs a Lead Engineer, you'll take the lead as you…
  • Develop and support existing and future Kronos instances and integrations
  • Develop software and systems on test driven development and continuous integration practices
  • Work closely with other engineers and partners to ensure development / configuration meets business needs
  • Follow industry standard agile software design methodology for development and technical documentation in a Scrum environment
  • 5+ years of software analysis, design, configuration, development and support experience
  • 3+ years of experience configuring Kronos WorkForce Central
  • Experience in Kronos Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) development
  • 3+ years developing SQL
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-starter and proactive
  • Team attitude
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
  • BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience configuring two or more modules of Kronos (Forecasting, Scheduling, Timekeeping, Attendance, Analytics) in version 6.2 or higher
  • Extensive experience working in an agile environment (i.e. user stories, iterative development, etc.)
  • Experience in Java Development
  • Experience in Human Resources product space such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Talent, and Learning
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment and tools
  • Working experience developing and consuming RESTful services
  • Previous support / on call experience
  • Experience with development IDE: Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience with Oracle DM
