Relocation Specialist

Position Overview

The Relocation Specialist is responsible for assisting their assigned Relocation Counselors, Plus partners, and the overall Service Delivery team. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide high quality customer service to internal and external clients
  • Assist assigned Relocation Counselors with file management to support high quality customer service
  • Add value to the relocation experience by developing relationships with their clients, transferees, counselors, and suppliers
  • Under the direction of the Manager and Relocation Counselor, support the
    relocating employees and corporate clients, as an extension of the
    Relocation Counselor
  • Assist Relocation Counselors and Managers by generating and reviewing reports and
    communication pieces for corporate clients and relocating employees
  • Coordinate and manage supplier services as directed by the Relocation Counselor and client
  • Research requests and resolve issues for relocating employees and corporate clients as requested by Relocation Counselors
  • Prepare and review relocation and assignment cost estimates
  • Track progression of service delivery information and communicate to Relocation Counselor
  • Support internal customers in the facilitation and understanding of  relocation expense processes

Skills / Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask at a high level
  • Capable of working effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously, as well as be part of a successful team
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills necessary for normal business matters (Microsoft Suite required)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective and proactive problem-solving skills

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service
