Sales Manager – Greenspring Media

As the Sales Manager for Greenspring Media, producers of Minnesota Monthly and Midwest Home, you will drive and fulfill company growth requirements and maintain effective direction within the sales department. You will be responsible for creating and executing the sales strategy for many of our product offerings. Working with your team and others, you will achieve maximum customer satisfaction, diversify our customer base and increase sales and market share. Most importantly, you will hire, manage and coach account executives to ensure the sales department is continually tasked toward growth objectives, follows a defined sale methodology, and is abreast of new sales tactics and market shifts.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in media, communications, or marketing. Your 3-5 years of successful sales management experience will demonstrate effectiveness in planning and implementing sales strategies. Having a keen eye for talent and a strength in building sales teams is a necessity. Prior client relationship management, relevant product and industry knowledge and the ability to assimilate quickly will be important in your success. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be skilled at managing details, enjoy problem-solving and working in a dynamic environment. Strong computer literacy is also required.
