Qualifications: Northern State University invites applications for a training specialist position. Essential responsibilities of this position include design and technical support for faculty assigned to teach online courses. The primary role of this position is the Quality Assurance Program for Northern State University online courses. In addition, the training specialist will support the integration of technology into all learning environments and provide consultation and support for instructional technology selection and implementation.
The successful applicant should possess an understanding of learning management systems, specifically Desire2Learn (D2L) and best practices for online course delivery. The candidate must have an excellent customer service base and professionalism including the ability to interact positively with internal and external clients through effective written and oral communication. The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of the NET Services team.
