This position is responsible for developing strong international travel strategy and service culture across team members and the contracted travel vendors. Responsible for establishing and monitoring communication guidelines, best practices, and strategies that provide a world class travel experience, while maximizing efficiencies. Responsible for overseeing the Target Sourcing Services travel program and providing  consultative services to Target India.

• Develop strategy for travel and expense reimbursement processes for global sourcing offices and consult on processes for India technology office, analyzing internation travel and developing plans to create a seamless approach that provides superior service in a financially responsible manner.

• Act as a primary point of contact and relationship manager for international-based vendors, providing coaching and feedback to improve agency performance and developing metrics to measure service and performance and swiftly and appropriately driving issue resolution.

• Set and enforce the standards required for international travel documentation, managing compliance within Target guidelines to ensure Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Due Diligence standards are met.

• Effectively interact with vendors and vendor management teams to gain client satisfaction, managing airline, airline reqards and other partner relationships, as well as managing vendor performance and developing tactics to improve traveler experience.

• Actively partner to respond to travel incidents that require immediate remediation, participating with the Corporate Command Center to support non-travel related emergencies that require travel services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree 

• 6 years Guest Service experience, with 2 years supervisory experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experienced in driving results through collaboration teams, including across departments/pyramids

• Experienced in working independently on projects with ambiguity

• Ability to respond to crisis situations after-hours and on weekends
