Hunter Hamilton has an immediate need for a professional Commercial Collections professional to work in the west Minneapolis metro! This is an excellent, contract to hire role. As the Collections Specialist you will manage run summary agings once a week, collection calls to assigned accounts, input all customer information and keep up to date, send weekly adjustments, monitor credit limits, report collections issues to supervisor, and other responsibilities as assigned, including: - Expedite the resolution of unpaid customer accounts to minimize receivables while maintaining customer good will. - Coordinate the resolution of customer disputes with internal departments and customer contacts. - Work directly with customers to analyze account history and expedite payment. - Contact customers when new orders go on hold to resolve disputes and expedite payments. - Participate in credit approval process as needed Qualifications: - High School diploma required, 2 or 4 year degree strongly desired - Professional B2B collections experience - Strong attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Company Overview: Hunter Hamilton Finance + Accounting offers contract, consulting and project engagements, in addition to executive and retained search opportunities, for proven professionals who specialize in financial reporting, analysis, general accounting, treasury, audit and tax.
