Position Summary Information Position Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Online track invites applications for a full time rolling Assistant Professor faculty position, beginning Fall 2017, pending budget approval. Rank and salary commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities:
Accountable for student learning in the Department of Occupational Therapy including teaching in the online OTA track. Must demonstrate the commitment to mission, philosophy, goals, and priorities of the OT Department and St. Catherine University, abide by the AOTA Code of Ethics and follow University policies and procedures as stated in the St. Catherine University catalog and the faculty and student handbooks. Teaching and service expectations and responsibilities are related to the primary needs of the programs and are focused on student success and satisfaction. Expected to participate in scholarship and service to the department, University, profession or community. In addition, will collaborate with, provide direction to, and supervise lab instructors and adjunct faculty teaching in the OTA online track.

Position Qualifications

Requirements:
A minimum of a Master's degree is required. A minimum of 5 years clinical practice is required with demonstrated knowledge of current occupational therapy practice. A minimum of three years of college level teaching experience is preferred, along with experience with online teaching. Preference will also be given to applicants with a COTA certificate. Must be eligible for licensure in your home state and California with NBCOT certification.
