Humera is looking for an Administrative Assistant for our client in Saint Paul. The candidate in this position will perform a variety of administrative and functional duties to support the business units as assigned.
  • Provide primary phone coverage and direct phone calls to appropriate staff
  • Provide clerical support for the Philanthropic Advisor team, Sustaining Fund team, and the Philanthropic Associate
  • Manage general office logistics including office supplies, work space, filing systems, hospitality, and other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the office
  • Update donor records in Jenzabar database system, route mail, facilitate gift receipt letters, manage event registrations, and provide general computer support including mail merges for letters, name tags, labels, etc
  • Provide support for staff in establishing program and scholarship endowed funds
  • Take accurate minutes of select meetings
  • Assist with donor relations events, with a special focus on Blessings, Partners/Heritage Society, Society of Stewards and the Leadership Circle Retreat
  • Administer the Public Supply Program
  • Build relationships with key donors and volunteers over the phone and in person
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Associate's degree, required; Bachelor of Arts degree preferred
  • Three (3) years of administrative assistant experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Google Apps
  • Highest level of confidentiality
  • Strong initiative (a self-starter with the ability to follow through on assignments
  • Ability to work well on a team and with a variety of people
  • Ability to professionally meet and greet the public
