Office Manager- Eden Prairie, MN

Doherty Career Solutions has teamed with our client to hire an Office Manager. This person will be responsible for a variety of office tasks, as well as some basic accounting work.

*Temp-Hire, $17-19/hr DOE

Duties:

  • Order office supplies
  • Assist Controller with various accounting tasks          
  • Sending out AR statements to customers, asking for payment (twice a month)
  • Reconciling AP Statements-to make sure we are caught up on paying vendors (daily, ongoing)  
  • Mailing out checks (every Friday)
  • Filing payments and invoices
  • Take all Invoices from field nation and add it to the spread sheet I currently have going so we can the calculate the margin we are getting on all POs (weekly)
  • Coordinate lunches for meetings
  • Order food for the entire office once a month
  • Plan Birthday parties in the break room for employees
  • Field telephone calls
  • Maintain contact with property management  
  • Anything having to do with building maintenance
  • Make travel arrangements when needed
  • Coordinate with the cleaning crews to facilitate cleaning
  • Assist sales team with opportunities
  • Security Policy
  • Creating/ improving formal documentation of policies and procedures regarding office security
  • Help ensure that those policies are being followed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred. Fresh grads with a desire to learn multiple aspects of business (can choose Accounting, Sales, or supply chain)
  • 0-1 years experience
