House Manager - Mission Lodge - On Call Positions
Missions Inc. Programs is a multi-service non-profit organization with a long history of providing services to those who are most in need, each year offering thousands of men and women, whose lives have been severely disrupted by chronic addiction, homelessness, and domestic violence safety, housing, support services, and the opportunity to make real change in their lives. Chemical dependency services are provided through four programs: Hart House (women only), Mission Lodge, and Smith Lodge provide transitional housing for men and women in recovery and Mission Detox Center provides medically supervised detoxification for adults and adolescents. Domestic violence services are provided through the Home Free Shelter for battered women and their children and the Home Free Community Program.

Mission Lodge, an 89-bed residential program for men and women who are chronically chemically dependent, is seeking on call House Managers. This position will provide direct service to men and women who have chronic addition to drugs or alcohol. They are responsible for monitoring resident activity, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. On-call positions are available for all shifts.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience with chronic chemical dependency, homelessness and poverty.
Ability to maintain safety and provide appropriate and respectful services to chemically dependent people in a chemically-free board and lodging setting.
Experience in a residential program required.
One year sobriety if chemically dependent.
Maintain confidentiality, ethical boundaries and professional conduct in all interactions with residents.
Experience mediating problems using de-escalation techniques.
Ability to work well with people from diverse racial, cultural, social and economic backgrounds and to promote fairness and equality.
