CONFIGURATION AUDITOR

Position Description

This position is responsible to perform quality assurance testing of newly created or revised configuration.  Create test plans and test scenarios.  Perform testing on new business initiatives, benefits, reimbursement strategies and other projects to ensure system functions according to the business requirements.  Log test results and investigate and resolve any outstanding defects.  Provide support to AMISYS Configuration Analysts by assisting with maintenance of system data tables necessary to support UCare functions including fee schedules, diagnosis and procedure code records and other tasks that support Pricing and Benefit configuration.  Support the department functions by assisting Configuration Analysts in projects, as needed.

·Create test plans and test scenarios for testing the configuration for contracts, benefits and reimbursement strategies.

·Perform testing of configuration to ensure AMISYS performs according to the business requirements.

·Log test results.  Analyze and ensure resolution of any defects. 

·Test, implement and train on new AMISYS releases, modules and interface third party products such as MACESS, CCMS and Easy Group. 

·Assist in maintenance of system by entering and auditing configuration in AMISYS as needed, under the direction of Configuration Analysts.

·Maintain high level of accuracy in system entry. 

·Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business or health care preferred; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 

Required Experience

Two years of claims processing, configuration support and testing experience in a managed health care environment.

Preferred Experience

Understanding of automated testing functionality and framework development.
