Doherty Career Solutions is seeking an Engineer Project Manager for a customer in the Greater Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin area. This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing engineering to meet company objectives for process design, new product development, and improvement of existing product lines. The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for delivering industrial projects up to $20 million in total installed capital. This position requires the candidate to demonstrate excellent project leadership, clear communication skills, strong collaboration and coordination abilities, and experience in effectively managing medium to long-term engineering projects.

Engineering Project Manager Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead Capital Projects to achieve the following results:

· Drive EHS incidents during construction, commissioning, and start-up to zero

· Meet all local, state, and federal regulations during design, construction, commissioning, start-up, and operation of the manufacturing facility

· Design, construct, commission, and start up a manufacturing facility that produces on-spec products, operates at the design on stream factor, and operates at design raw material to final product design conversion efficiencies

· Minimize disruption of existing manufacturing facilities during construction

· Ensure all company and site engineering policies and procedures are adhered to

· Lead and coordinate integrated project teams that include business, manufacturing, technical, construction management, project controls, procurement/contracting, and project management members

Capital Project Engineer Key Requirements/Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial) or a related field of equivalent education and experience

· Minimum of 10+ years of project management and leadership experience in an industrial environment with capital projects > $5 million

· Prior experience contracting and managing engineering companies

· Demonstrated experience managing large capital projects for chemical, grain, dairy, or continuous food processing

· Demonstrated experience in cost estimating, budgeting, and cost/schedule control

· Demonstrated ability in a project organization to coordinate and bring people together on common objectives

· Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all internal and external levels with emotional intelligence and stability

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence all levels of the organization
