Doherty Top Talent has partnered with a great company in Faribault, MN to hire for a Purchasing Assistant who has exceptional Microsoft Excel skills. This opportunity is a long-term contract opportunity with a potential to be fulltime in the future. Compensation starts at $17.50 per hour. This position is fulltime with 40 hours a week, hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Purchasing Assistant Main Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assists in the ordering and securing product for the division to maximize store sales through product availability.
· Coordinates with suppliers and purchasing to assure timely and cost effective delivery of product.
· Verify the accuracy of scanner retails, price signs and print advertising.
· Works to resolve product related customer concerns.
Purchasing Assistant Key Requirements/Qualifications:
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills is required.
· Highly organized and detail oriented while displaying professionalism.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
