Responsibilities: Summary       

This position utilizes theoretical and applied knowledge of psychological sciences and is responsible for leading the technical project management for state assessment projects, including schedules, form pulls, setting up and enrolling devices, project documentation, internal and external resource management and aligning all client on-line technical specifications. The incumbent is responsible for technical phases of the project and is able to analyze how the project affects, and is affected by, other areas of the company (i.e., programming, operations, etc.).


Position Responsibilities

    Analyze client requirements and develop recommendations for solutions as neededProvide information to other internal departments regarding project scope and changes to current projects.
  • Responsible for all forms review (Operational, Screener, Item Tryouts, Field Tests)
  • Responsible for testing form rendering across all device types
  • Responsible for the form pull request watch process
  • Responsible for downloading/received QTI files from CAL via the DRC SFTP site
  • Responsible downloading/received UID List(s) and Tier Spreadsheet(s) from CAL via the DRC SFTP site
  • Responsible for requesting TD Tech to import QTI files, build forms, and pull forms
  • Responsible for requesting TD Tech to import QTI files, repackage forms, and re-pull forms
  • Assisted on form pull to Production
  • Assisting with Tier Spreadsheet(s) review contain appropriate Tier values (e.g. "ABC" for Practice folders and Transition Screens, "AB" "BC" or "ABC" for folders across multiple Tiers, etc. {Test Blueprint}
  • Work with IDEAS, WBTE, etc. on changes to existing QTI
  • Setting up/enrolling devices on test engines in TD and production
  • Responsible for documenting all client sign-offs on online test forms
  • Responsible to manage and control all QTI packages received from client
  • Aligning online test engine technical specifications with the item QTI package functionality
  • Coordination of onsite client QC process
  • Liaison between client and internal development teams on new item types and online test engine functionality
  • Responsible to establish requirements with development team on files required on the contract
  • Lead for Item Tryouts setup with CAL
  • Responsible for reporting issues to the development teams when reported by the client
  • Responsible for technical issues follow up through resolution, working alongside development teams
  • Responsible for monitoring and control of the program’s SFTP site
  • Responsible for Package Previewer application
  • Responsible for troubleshooting test documents that had administration errors and work to resolve
  • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with client contacts and vendors and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels
    • Gather project requirements, document change requests, communicate to team as needed, and take appropriate actionAssume responsibility for timely completion of projects by developing a realistic project schedule using MS ProjectMonitor project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule, and identify ways to resolve schedule issuesInteract with team members to coordinate their activities, obtain or provide information regarding projects and changes to projects, assign tasks and set priorities; including providing work direction to temporary staffDevelop, update, and maintain project materials such as manuals, publications, meeting agendas and minutes, and project documentationManage project delivery to client and contract specificationsParticipate in formal review with internal team and client at project completion to confirm acceptance and satisfactionAll other projects as assigned
    Qualifications: Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with the following:
  • Educational assessment technologies
  • ELL Assessments
  • Project management in educational assessment or a related field
  • Microsoft Office software Word, Excel and MS Project
  • Strong technical aptitude with multiple devices
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Familiarity with and ability to apply conflict resolution with minimal guidance
