Job Description:
Start your career with Daikin (formerly McQuay International), a world leader in the manufacturing of air conditioning equipment. Indrotec Staffing and Workforce Management is now hiring qualified individuals to work as an Assembler at Daikin, located in Owatonna, MN.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
    Performs inspection, test, and evaluation procedures on materials, parts, subassemblies, completed units, manufacturing processes and procedures, equipment, machinery, and tooling to maintain and improve product quality by performing the following duties.

  • Understand and adhere to company Quality Control procedures, as related to overall inspection requirements.
  • Cooperates with production personnel and supervision to ensure the maximum of production with the optimum of quality, as established by management.
  • Inspects incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practice and/or special instructions.
  • Trains other employees in day to day procedures.
  • Performs specific calibrations, specific tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and records the results.
  • Determines controls necessary to maintain consistent quality level.
  • Generates inspection reports and analysis.

Requirements:
    Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Vocational or associates degree preferred.
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training required.

  • Language Ability
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  • Math Ability
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Computer Skills
    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
