Humera has a position available for a Traffic Coordinator with our client in St. Paul. Our client as been committed to the design and manufacture of the highest quality surgical instrumentation and continues its dedication to providing the best surgical products to medical professionals around the world. The candidate in this position will pull and package orders, restocking shipping/mailing supplies as needed, assist in cleaning shipping/mailing department, assist with mail pick up and delivery and assist in warehouse/receiving department. This is a long term contract assignment.
Duties
  • Pull orders according to packing lists that are generated from Customer Service, following appropriate work instructions
  • Work closely with Customer Service to ensure timely turnaround of all orders
  • Keeping areas neat and orderly
  • Running the Manifest System requires concentration, at a quick pace, without error to ensure the customer receives the order correctly
  • Filling Literature and Sample requests as provided by Customer Service, Sales or Marketing, then running through the postage/UPS machine to prepare for delivery
  • Log all pulled sample products on the stock adjustment form, as per work instruction
  • Check and restock copy paper at various copiers: green bar paper, letterhead, plain paper, labels, envelopes, etc. located at each printer; paper towels, toilet tissue and Kleenex for general office use, stock as required
  • Daily restocking of brochures as we run out, creating new catalogs as we get low, and making new shipping boxes as supply demands
  • Pick up and deliver mail at the Post Office
  • Assist in cleaning Shipping/Mailing Department as needed, especially around the Literature and Sample counter, picking up all paper clips, pens, miscellaneous paper, etc. to keep area as neat as possible
  • Assist with all incoming goods, logging all details as appropriate with a timely turnaround including moving single use items to stock following FIFO (first in first out) Guidelines

Requirements
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. Additional education preferred. Good communication skills and a basic understanding of math are necessary
  • 3+ years past experience in order fulfillment, shipping and receiving tasks required
  • Experience trains for positions that work directly with the customer and the customer's order
  • UPS/postage manifest system experience preferred
  • Experience doing maintenance duties (i.e. painting, repairs, etc.)
  • Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred
