JOIN US AS A SR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER (SELENIUM)About the Team:
Both online and in-store, Target is changing the game in retail.  A commitment has been made to focus on tech innovation throughout the company. This attitude is especially reflected in the future of the online Gift Registry site. The Sr. QA Automation Engineer has the opportunity within the Gift Registry team to help rebuild the Web App from the ground up using the latest and greatest QA automation tools/technology. 
As the team is rebuilding the site, we're looking for a team member to build a solid automated testing framework right alongside the developers.  We have complete control of our CI/CD process to which we release as often as we want to - that is where the importance of QA automation comes into play for our Gift Registry team. Responsibilities:
  • Be a key player within our product engineering scrum team
  • Participate in QA testing for large-scale, web applications, tools, and/or software
  • Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Write test plans and automated test cases
  • Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for software quality
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience testing highly distributed, complex web applications
  • 2+ years hands-on experience creating automated test scripts
  • Experience with Selenium Grid and Selenium WebDriver
  • Hands-on experience working with SQL and other relational DB's (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra)
  • Extensive experience with test data management
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent  
  • 3+ years of experience building automation tests for web apps
  • Hands-on experience writing automated scripts for API's using Postman
  • Enjoys direct collaboration with UX, Product and Development experts
  • Experience with CI/CD related tools such as Jenkins and Maven
  • Experience with version control such as Git and GitHub
  • Prior working knowledge of JavaScript
  • Seeks out and stays current with the latest test automation trends
