Target.com is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced fulfillment & supply chain expert to define and execute programs that will drive guest experience improvements and consistency across our e-commerce fulfillment businesses. 


The Lead Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for working across the enterprise to lead large programs and initiatives which will define, create, and implement strategy to improve Target.com fulfillment quality, guest experience, and drive significant improvements to reduce fulfillment guest concessions. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to strategy development and execution, working with cross-functional teams across the enterprise - including fulfillment centers, store operations, guest fulfillment experience, direct to guest transportation, packaging, sourcing, and merchant teams.


As a Lead Supply Chain Analyst, you will have ownership responsibility to thoroughly understand the end to end fulfillment process, diving deep into - metric & reporting creation, product and shipment packaging strategy and execution, ability to create and improve processes utilizing Lean techniques, and have a strong ability to partner with teams across Target to implement successful solutions. A successful candidate will excel in cross-functional team work, be able to successfully test and implement new packaging initiatives, and be passionate about improving the Target.com guest experience. A successful candidate will also be highly resourceful and analytical, will have an ability to think and act both strategically and tactically, to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. He or she will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic business environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Development & support of metrics, reporting, process improvements, technical, and system requirements
  • Leading cross functional teams to drive solutions for guest concession reductions
  • Managing projects from design to execution
  • Managing and reporting key performance metrics at various levels throughout Target
  • You are an influential leader with business, operations and technology knowledge, a tremendous guest focus, excellent problem solver, and team player.
  • You have a strong product and program management background and have demonstrated experience leading large projects and will have a well-rounded technical/operations/reporting background.
  • You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
  • You will identify and analyze data to determine root causes, develop business cases, test solutions and prioritize competing program opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred
  • 5+ years' experience working in direct to consumer retail, consulting, operations or technology industry
  • Experience utilizing and creating SQL queries, SaaS experience, and advanced experience with MS Excel - individual must be able to maintain and build database structure to produce reporting as needed
  • Experience managing projects and/or programs
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving cross-functional teams
  • Sound business judgment, strong analytical thinking and technical skills, and the ability to influence others driving clear results
  • Ability to analyze and propose data-driven solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
