Primary Function

Lead strategy and concept development, using Target's overall strategies as a starting point, for in store marketing for category designation or for brand initiatives.  Guides business specific reinventions and establishes and shares best practices and expertise. Ensures standards are met for new marketing components.Principal Duties and Responsibilities Provide expertise on large scope reinventions or cross divisional projects.Manage project within timing and budgetTake leadership role on special projects/committees that drive process improvements and have impact on the larger ISM organizationWork on cross media alignment opportunitiesDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both inside and outside of companyAssist in maintaining safety, legal & patent guidelinesEnsure department is maintaining safety, legal & patent guidelines and Target brand standardsJob Requirements
  • College Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 4 years relevant experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership ability

  • Previous Target experience
  • Retail experience
  • Procurement experience in Point of Purchase or related area
  • Large format print buying experience
  • Capable in both Mac and PC platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe image/editing software
  • Strong ability to design dimensionally and think visually
  • Strong sense of composition
  • Attention to Design Detail
