Administrative Assistant / Receptionist Doherty Top Talent is partnering with a private Investment Banking firm in Plymouth that specializes in Mergers and Acquisitions. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist with a high degree of professionalism and initiative for this rewarding opportunity! Compensation starts at $15.00 to $17.00 hourly with some overtime availability, and scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 to 12:00 pm on Fridays (enjoy the summer weather with a long weekend!). The Administrative Assistant / Receptionist will support daily work flow for the firm and its affiliates. There will be opportunity to support the President and executive staff with daily research and administrative functions and special projects as assigned.
Administrative Assistant / Receptionist Responsibilities: · Answer phones and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Take messages or field and answer all routine and non-routine questions. · Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner. · Maintain office space cleanliness and supplies. · Type and design general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. · Organize and conduct mass mailing. · Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. · Attend meetings to take minutes or provide necessary administrative support. · Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. · Database management; Add new contacts and leads into ACT database, maintain accurate information on contact information changes within ACT. · Perform market research for prospect clients and industries. · Maintain filing system, retrieve files as needed. · Schedule meetings, conference attendance, activities and travel as needed.
Administrative Assistant Requirements: · Associate's degree or postsecondary degree required, or equivalent experience. · Strong interpersonal skills. · Must have professional appearance and be articulate. · Strong written and oral communication skills. · Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision; can-do mentality. · Able to prioritize and multi-task; must be organized. · Intermediate MS Office Suite skills; Adobe InDesign experience.
