Business Development Manager
The Thorburn Group has an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished Business Development Manager for their Minneapolis, MN office. This individual will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities at our rapidly growing brand engagement agencies in the Twin Cities. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualification, new business presentation development and agency visibility and reputation management.
Qualifications we are looking for include:
- At least 5+ years of proven sales experience in an advertising, design and/or marketing communications agency.
- A passion for creativity and an understanding of how great brands are developed and managed.
- A “we” vs. “me” mentality.
- An “above and beyond” client service philosophy.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop & maintain relationships with prospects and with internal agency team.
- Experience in all Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel. (Apple/Keynote experience is a plus).
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
