  • Lead the design and development of RESTful based software services.

·Champion new and emerging technologies and drive decision making.

·Establish research and proof-of-concept initiatives in new and emerging technology spaces.

  • Follow software quality process and methodology standards, including those for design, data quality, code, version control, defect/change request tracking, documentation, work product review, automated unit testing and environment management.
  • Work on implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
  • Innovate constantly and maintain the technical edge.
  • Build tools for monitoring production environment and analyze as well as trouble-shoot production incidents within defined SLAs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation from requirement to production

•Proficiency in Java and J2EE

•Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems

•Excellent written communication skills and ability to document technical content

Desired Qualifications:

•Full stack development experience

•Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate Framework and Spock for web service development and testing

•Experience with Jenkins, Drone, Chef, DSL, Gradle and GitHub for CI/CD

•Experience with ELK stack and Grafana for monitoring

•Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, Postgres and non-RDBMS such as Cassandra, MongoDB for data store

•Experience with Kafka and Camel

•Experience in retail industry

•MS in Computer Science or related technical field
