Greenspring is a high-energy, fast-paced entrepreneurial company full of people who are passionate about media, food, travel, home décor and more.  As the Integrated marketing leader for Greenspring Media, producers of Minnesota Monthly and Midwest Home, you are responsible for developing strategic brand marketing plans, event creation & production, and overall customer experiences that achieve top-line and bottom-line growth objectives, brand awareness and target segment penetration for Greenspring Media and all its brands. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative marketing leader that possesses the attributes of a branding expert, event producer, and product innovator.

This leadership position requires a collaborative team member who works across all business units to constantly innovate new and improve existing programs. As the driver and strategist for marketing and PR, event creation & management, partnership marketing, and advertorial content teams, the Manager/Director oversees and coaches direct reports. You also drive social media, content management and marketing automation to ensure accurate and creative brand messaging and content. The team is responsible for developing and executing integrated communications campaigns that support the organization’s strategic plan, business & sales plans, event sponsorship & ticket sales, strategic partnerships, circulation and messaging.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications and 8-10 years of successful progressive marketing management experience, including directing work teams and managing division P&L’s. Demonstrated success in creating and building brands, from brand positioning through to the development of brand projection/communication elements is required. You must have 3+ years experience executing existing and creating start up large-scale consumer events as well as proficiency in leading integrated marketing across channels such as social media, interactive/digital, Broadcast – TV, radio, print – magazines, newspaper, direct mail, in-store/POP and email resulting in meaningful efficiency and market share gains. Prior experience guiding and managing external partners, relevant product and industry knowledge and the ability to assimilate quickly will be important in your success. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a skilled negotiator, excel at managing details, enjoy problem-solving and working in a dynamic environment. Strong computer literacy is also required.
