Our client is looking for an experienced HR Manager. This is a family owned company in St. Paul. This is a permanent/direct hire position paying $60K to $75K, depending on qualifications. Great opportunity for someone to lead and own the HR process. The right candidate will possess a strategic approach to the HR process. 

Job Duties:

  • Work with Owners/Management to develop, maintain, and refine HR strategies
  • Implement HR strategies
  • Lead recruiting efforts
  • Develop new and update existing training and safety processes to ensure employees' safety
  • Handle employee relations issues
  • Oversee payroll process 
  • Ensure Company's compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other workplace guidelines  
  • Oversee benefits administration and answer any employee questions
  • Performance Management 
  • Lead orientation and on boarding of new employees
  • Manage and develop HR Coordinator

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or applicable experience
  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • HR Manager experience
  • Possess leadership and critical thinking skills
  • Variety of HR skills
  • Be able to work independently
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with wide variety of individuals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extensive experience in safety and Workers' Compensation
  • Solid experience designing and developing training programs
