Ranked Faculty - Nursing Graduate Programs MSN Entry Level Option
The Department of Nursing invites applicants for a full-time, rolling contract, ranked faculty position to teach in the graduate programs particularly in the post baccalaureate RN master's entry level option beginning fall 2017, and pending budget approval. This program is designed for the adult learner so has evening and weekend classes. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
We are searching for a faculty colleague who loves to teach; is passionate about working with diverse colleagues, students, and populations; understands the importance of interprofessional education; and is committed to the scholarship of teaching. Situated in the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health with over 37 health profession programs, we have a fertile ground for teaching interprofessional practice. Responsibilities: Teaching students in the classroom, online, and in the clinical setting, and engaging in scholarship and service per University guidelines.
Requirements: Master’s of Nursing required, earned doctorate preferred in nursing or a related field. Eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Minnesota is required. Current clinical experience is required. Previous experience teaching pre-licensure students and graduate level teaching, commitment to collaborative engagement with student advisees, and commitment to collaborative research with faculty and graduate students are preferred.
