PROJECT MANAGER
Doherty Career Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for a position with one of the world's largest quarriers and fabricators of granite. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with initial screening by Doherty. Compensation range is $48,000-$65,000 based on experience and skill set.

JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager is the main point of contact for customers after an order is placed. He/she also assists the Drafting Manager in managing construction drawings and documentation, coordinating project meetings and working closely with production to ensure that project deadlines are met.

PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBLITIES
• Identify potential design flaw issues and relay the information to the appropriate departments
• Establish, maintain and publish a CPM schedule for the project
• Coordinate all production of granite materials for projects
• Maintain accurate shipping dates for all granite materials released for fabrication
• Handle all customer service related functions required for construction projects
• Coordinate approval of customer selected design items
• Order and track all purchased and subcontracted items, including issuance of subcontract agreements
• Estimate and administrate construction change orders
• Perform CSI cost code for job related expenses
• Provide a priority list to the plant for Private Estate preassembled buildings
• Review job cost reports on a weekly basis and identify potential issues
• Manage and deliver expected profit margins on assigned projects
• Perform project close out, including site visit, punchlist and customer concerns or work quality issues
• Ensure delivery of project close out documents, including but not limited to applicable warranty information and a close out letter
• Perform site visits as warranted or as directed by the Project Manager Supervisor

PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
• Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management or Drafting and three years of job related experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Construction Management or Drafting and three years of job related experience
• High School diploma with appropriate experience in job related field will also be considered
• General construction and Blueprint reading
• Use of PC and related software applications and customer service
• Microsoft project scheduling software is a plus
