In this role, you'll manage a maintenance team within the engineering & facilities department of the distribution center.  It's your leadership that guides your team to proactively plan to increase supply chain efficiency. We'll be supporting you with extensive training to help you grow as a strong operations manager. This position includes competitive pay and discounts.

  • Oversee maintenance and regulatory compliance of the distribution center automation systems, equipment, building, and grounds
  • Manage team members and maintenance vendors of the facility to ensure a high degree of safety, performance, and quality
  • Support a culture of safety by facilitating safety training and incident reviews
  • Manage the budget, processes, and results for a critical portion of the engineering and facilities business
  • Support system transformation projects and facilitate capital improvements to take the distribution center to the next level of performance
  • Innovate creative solutions to challenges that affect your team and use continuous improvement methodologies to drive business performance
  • Lead the distribution center teams through downtime and emergency events
  • Collaborate across departments to drive productivity and ensure the facility runs efficiently

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures to others
  • Ability to engage teams and manage performance
  • Strong reasoning, analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop sustainable solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and drive process improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to access all levels and areas of facility

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of lean, six sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing a maintenance team in a production environment
  • Engineering experience in a production environment
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System programs including planned and corrective maintenance scheduling and parts management processes
