IT Systems Administrator II

Provide day-to-day System Administrator lead functions, effective provisioning, installation/configuration,
operation and maintenance of systems hardware/software, network hardware/software, storage systems. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the enterprise.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day lead functions for the System Administrators consisting but not limited to project coordination and work order review and prioritization.
  • Designs the layout and develops specifications for systems, windows active directory, storage, network and supporting infrastructure.
  • Develops, implements, monitors and enforces security for the systems, windows active directory, storage and network.
  • Coordinates and participates in the installation and maintenance of all system, storage, and network software including upgrades, and monitors software license usage.
  • Analyzes systems, storage, software, and network utilization problems using diagnostic and error recover techniques and initiates corrective action.
  • Applies system updates, patches, and configuration changes.

 
Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in the Information Technology field; Bachelor's degree in IT field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s Degree OR 5 years’ experience with an Associate’s degree. Seeking experience in a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer or Network Administrator role in a Windows Server 2012+, Office 365 Administration, Cisco enterprise environment.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of car insurance
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

 
Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, approx. 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m, with the option to work 2 days/week from home.
  • Every 6th week on-call for one week, must be able to report to the Hospital within approx. 30 minutes, if needed.
