Manager Information Technology II
The College of Engineering at Iowa State University is seeking applications for a Manager of Information Technology II. This position will provide leadership and strategic direction for information technology across academic departments, administrative offices, and centers.
The manager of information technology will have primary responsibility for leading multiple IT professionals and technical specialists, both at the department and college level. This position has college-wide scope of accountabilities with a significant number of university-wide projects and responsibilities and will be expected to collaborate and partner with University Information Technology Services (ITS) and IT leaders from other colleges. They will have a strong customer focus. This position will also develop new tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of IT services.
The successful candidate will possess a broad knowledge of enterprise-level IT technologies and practices as well as strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will possess strong organizational skills along with the ability to work well with a diverse organization.
