Bulk Reef Supply is an online retailer of top quality products for saltwater aquarium hobbyists.  We are seeking a detailed, self motivated individual to fill our Accounting Specialist role.  This role will handle responsibilities in Accounts Payable and Cash such as:

  • Reconciling credit card and paypal accounts
  • Posting transaction registers
  • Enter non-inventory Accounts Payable
  • Assist with month end and year end closing
  • Assist with sales and use tax filings
  • Record will call and gift card sales
  • Record daily  banking activity
  • Prepare bi-weekly check runs
  • Other accounting projects as assigned

Requirements include:

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of general accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of Sage 100 preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Office - including Excel
  • Experience with sales & use tax return preparation
  • Organized, detailed & self motivated
  • Strong written & verbal skills
