Executive Assistant to the CEO
This position provides executive administrative and coordination support to the Chief Executive Officer. The position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on items related to the CEO. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and senior management teams; including organizing and coordinating activities for the Board of Directors and other selected committees.
Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related field preferred. However, upon evaluation 5 years’ experience (in addition to the requirements listed under experience) in a position that required administrative support to an Executive may be substituted for the required degree.
Seven years’ experience in a highly complex, administrative support position that required advanced word processing, transcription, proofreading, meeting planning and coordination and various administrative support accountabilities. Five years’ experience supporting a CEO or other Executive required.
Key Knowledge & Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Excellent organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills; and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to keep information confidential. Demonstrates excellent judgment; high sense of integrity, proactive approach to addressing issues; strong sense of initiative; and results oriented.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to accommodate short-notice changes to schedule. Ability to work flexible hours as required. Flexibility to travel.
