Accounting Clerk - Part-time Doherty Top Talent is partnering with HomeServices of America in Dallas, TX in search of an Accounting Clerk. Compensation for the Accounting Clerk position is between $15.00 and $17.00 hourly based on experience. We offer career development, benefits, and an amazingly supportive team. This is a direct hire position with regular, part-time business hours Monday-Friday. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years' experience in accounting or administrative support work. The HomeServices of America family of companies includes over 30 brokerage, mortgage, title and escrow, and relocation companies throughout the United States. General Responsibilities • Provide basic accounting and administrative support to the accounting department. • Assist with any of the following: trust account deposits; processing open contracts; A/P, A/R, and commission processing, check generation, reconciling accounts and responding to routine questions. • Process department mail, answer phones and direct callers, order supplies and prepare routine correspondence and generate reports. • Verify and enter data, review documents for completeness and maintain electronic and paper files. • Prepare bank deposits • May verify amount of earnest money check to the contract; cancel files and refund earnest money in a timely manner; update computer for tracking of files.
