Walk-In Door Assembler Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a 2nd shift Walk-In Door Assembler to work in a manufacturing facility in Hudson, WI. As a 2nd shift Walk-In Door Assembler, you will be working a Monday-Thursday schedule, with the hours of 3:30pm-2:00am. The compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour. There is also the potential to receive a $500.00 retention bonus! Walk-In Door Assembler Duties and Responsibilities The Walk-In Door Assembler is responsible for: · Assembling standard and special door sections before or after foaming · Reading and interpreting shop prints and floor plans · Informing the Supervisor or Group Leader of material shortages · Meeting all quality and production standards · Compliance with all company policies and safety regulations · Detecting defects and reporting them to the Supervisor or Group Leader · Staging of door sections metal for jobs · Accurately records job time on time tickets · Performing housekeeping around work area

Walk-In Door Assembler Requirements The Walk-In Door Assembler requires the following: · Pre-employment screening, including a drug test and background check · The ability to demonstrate basic math skills to be used in the workplace · Skill in reading and interpreting floor plans, blueprints and assembly instructions · Skill in manipulating and interpreting a tape measure · Skill in using small hand and power tools · Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions and company policies · Ability to communicate with others in a professional and productive manner · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently · Ability to grasp and manipulate small parts and hand tools · Ability to work overtime, when required
