TELECOMMUTE OPPORTUNITY

Optum Services, Inc., a UnitedHealth Group company, seeks a full-time Manager of Apps Development responsible for developing and maintaining in house applications to provide a highly available file transfer platform with 99.995% availability. Develops and maintains multiple web applications that interface with the Axway suite of products. Provides supervision to Sr. Software Engineers and Sr. IT Systems Management Consultants. Requires Master's degree or equiv. in Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 2 years related experience. Must also have demonstrated ability with each of the following: 1) File transfer protocols FTP, SFTP, HTTPs, AS2 and PeSIT and Axway suite of products, which include Gateway, Passport and Sentinel. 2) Development of custom modules in Java, C#, .NET, Perl, and Shell Scripting Programming Languages. 3) Providing software administration for enterprise file transfer environments. 4) Development, installation, deployment, and ongoing production application support of strategic B2B managed file transmissions platforms. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
